Long time no see!! I have been super busy and haven't really had time to post any thing new. Let me try to recap the last month. Aiden had strep throat, Logan had an ear infection, and now Aiden has a sore throat again. Aiden was the Cat in the Hat for Halloween and Logan was Thing 1 for one event and then a Giraffe for the actual trick or treating part. Here is a picture at the Mulberry Fall Festival. Jon is not pictured because he was at work :(
They boys are growing up so fast! Logan is almost 8 months old already. He is learning how to crawl and how to eat solid foods. He is currently teething- which means a fussy baby but it also means that he will be able to explore more in the solid foods area. Aiden is learning more and more every day. He loves music.
We have the boys' Christmas gifts all bought except for stocking stuffers, a drum for Aiden (we bought one for $80 at Toys R Us but if we get one at Target on black Friday we will take the one back to toys r us- the target one is $50), a game that Aiden wants, and car seats (3) for Logan (not all will be for Christmas).
Have you made your 2012 budget yet? I have and its scary. With the Montessori Pre-k added in- we are in the red. So- I have decided to take these last two months of 2011 and #1 use up our current stockpile of food and #2 replenish our stockpile for the new year. Also, we wouldn't have to start paying for Pre-k until August- so I am hoping to bump up our pre-k savings during the first half of the year. I am working on perfecting my couponing abilities. I am currently eating a lunch that cost me nothing!
I hope you all have an excellent Thanksgiving. Remember to be thankful for everything you have!
I love reading your blogs! I wish I did better at couponing. It's tough though. I did manage to save $22 in coupons this morning though. It's not free or even close but it is $22 that is still in my pocket. See you on FB!
